The center supports young people and women living in difficult conditions through practical six-month vocational courses that build skills, confidence and income opportunities.

Community Development
Mofu Rothenburg Vocational Training Center
Constructed in cooperation with Mofu Rothenburg Association of Switzerland, the center provides vocational training and serves as the organization head office. Current courses include tailoring, electrical installation, welding, masonry and bricklaying.

Agriculture Projects
MRO works with UVIWAMO, a union of local rice farmer groups in Mofu, supporting sustainable agricultural farming, small grants and production improvement.

Water Filter Project
Ten water kiosks have been distributed to schools, a vocational training center, Ihenga Center and Mofu Mission to strengthen access to safe and clean water.

Provision of School Meals
The organization provides sugar and pays cooks salaries while parents contribute maize and rice, helping students concentrate and remain in school.

School Support Projects
MRO supports students in difficult conditions through school fees, study materials, uniforms, school improvements and learning resources.

Groups such as Water for All, Jikwamue and Mapendo receive equipment, finance and capacity support to become economically self-sufficient.

Through donor contributions, renovation works have supported Mofu Parish Catholic Church, priests’ house, catechist house and local mosques.

A youth advocacy project implemented in partnership with Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights Africa to strengthen access to youth-friendly health information and services.
